DR.MADELYN SHORE

Dr. Shore is originally from Mocksville NC, but she and her husband Patrick are not new to Carteret County; they moved to Atlantic Beach in 2014, and have since called it home. She attended University of North Carolina Wilmington and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Minor in Gerontology in 2013. Following graduation, she worked in the dental field as a dental assistant before pursuing her doctorate. Dr. Shore then earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from East Carolina School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC. Dr. Shore is very passionate about providing dental care to those in rural areas, as is the mission of ECU SODM. Volunteering with NC Mission of Mercy Clinics across the state, as well as the NC Baptist Dental Van right here in Carteret County, she plans to continue serving her community.

Madelyn married her high-school sweetheart, Patrick, here on the Crystal Coast in 2018. They have a lab named Hattie. Patrick works in both the commercial and sportfishing industries, and they all love spending time on the water. They have fallen in love with our Crystal Coast, and are excited to start this new chapter together.

Dr. Shore is a current member of the North Carolina Dental Society and American Dental Association. She is passionate about creating long-standing relationships with her patients, and providing compassionate care. Everyone’s dental needs are different, and Dr. Shore is committed to providing premiere, individualized care in a relaxed environment.
